While watching the Moon pride video I stupidly looked at the comments.
One of them being around the lines.
Short skirts and make up do we really want our little girls watching this. -_- (I face palmed so hard reading that)
Here is the thing though. I remember the original version in the 90s hell my happiest memories are me watching the show. Now I also remember another thing. No one complained about the skirts and how short they were. I am from a town where the old people do nothing but complain some times. They never complained about the short skirts.
The only issue I can see was the whole Uranus Neptune thing.
Personally I don't see how lesbians are an issue....to be honest the "fix" was worst. (place kissing cousin jokes here)
Back to the main point woman.
I am just saying did some how people become more picky and mean since the 90s over what girls wear or is it just me?
I mean yes some outfits in other media can be a little ridiculous but it's just a short skirt. And trust me this anime is not going to to fan service shoots so yea.
